I'd like to come, if could get a hand swapping my spare for the full size spare. From what I have read, it usually takes two people. Will bring beer & tri-tip!

Yes it is on like donkey kong!

Here are the details:
Wrenching day: I have tools, air tools, floor jack, 2 ramps, 2 jack stands, pool (with fence to keep kiddos out or in :), BBQ, big yard and big dog.

TIME: 10am to 6pm (I have no plans that night so you can stay as late as you need to, wifey is out of town and lil man goes to bed at 8)

FOOD: I'll have some water and diet sodas but it is mostly BYOE. You are welcome to use anything in the house/kitchen or BBQ.

I'm not planning on wrenching but will be able to help during lil man's nap times 10-1130 and 2-330.

LOCATION: 2326 Victoria court Livermore ca 94550

I will work on the broken window roller guide (again) on my D2; will bring beverage beer and wine to share; and bbq meat to grill.

Also if anyone is interested, I purchased two handheld transmitters (HT) ham radio as back-up (stays in the glove compartment) to my in-dash mobile ham radio, and also for disaster recovery family planning (in case of a natural disaster in the Bay Area and land lines/cell phones are down) we have a way to communicate; I can bring em for folks to check out.

And I have a few items for sale (PM if interested and I can bring them):

1) 1 quart of POR-15 (new in the can) $40 OBO. Rust proof your frame, floor boards, battery tray, bumper... http://www.por15.com...roductinfo/1GB/

http://nclrclub.org/...=1&d=1338048394

2) Used A-bar for Land Rover Discovery II (will not fit LR3; possible D1 w/the right brackets). $50 OBO for club members. If you have welding skills, you can cut away the lower portion and weld the top unto your customer bumper for the bull-bar look. Comes w/mounts for lights (lights in the picture not included) SOLD

3) Used 4 RRC Alloy Wheels re-finished in gun metal (fits D1/Defenders but look better on RRC IMO) $100 OBO. SOLD

4) Brand new pair of Hella 4000 Pencil Beam Lights w/wiring harness (metal case and comes w/light covers). $200.

5) Used pair of front door speakers (top) came out of 1990 RRC. I installed aftermarket and these are the originals. Stills works. $10/pair.

Ron, I'll take those front door speakers! I likely won't be there though, so we can work something out if I'm up in your area or if you're in the city / Peninsula.

Enrique, I have a can of Chassis Coat left over with about 85% of the paint left. If you're interested in it too I'll let it go for $20. It's the quart size so there's plenty of it left. I don't have a need for the paint now that the rack is complete and would hate to see a $50 can dry up and not get used.

I have a great solution for this issue Ron. One "roller" from Lowes, a nutcert and a bolt. Mine works great, no isses. Cost me .58 or something silly. If you want help, let me know. I am hoping to get the Starter motor in the DII tonight or tomorrow so I can come over earlier....

My son will be attending summer camp near UC Berkeley; if you work in Berkeley, PM me your address and I can drop it off. No rush next week or the following is fine. C yah!

Sounds good Enrique. I can also bring a copy of that non-disclosure agreement been wanting to send you. Handy business document.

And if you also decide to get Brenton's paint for $20, go for it. If you need more (since you collect LR like Larry Ellison buys Islands - he! he!) to paint another LR's underside, floor boards or engine bay, brand quart of new POR-15 is still avail. C yah!

That would be great Mike if you can tell me the part numbers #. The last home made roller guide replacement I purchased and made for DII worked for awhile but a year later, broken.
