I may be around, as Nathan and I rarely get time to just hand and talk and if we both have kids with us, they can entertain themselves.

My plan is to roll out of East Livermore at 7. Herding cats, that will happen. It will take us to 710-715 to hit the 580/680. If you could leave Concord at 7, you may meet up with us right at 580/680, or just a bit behind and catching as you will be faster. FYI, I stop in Hollister to top off tanks (I may be the only one in need) before I go into the park.

Sure, you can call. Are you on HAM or cell only?

POST 1 has the listing I show of paid member kits to come with me to MORG. Those not handed out will be mailed over the weekend.

Also shows those who want to pay for the renewal at the event.

Also shows the "Presidential Convoy" so you can join up or when you catch us you will not be like WTF is that motely crew and why are they so slow.

Please email me at president@nclrclub.org if you want to swap numbers for convoy or questions about membership renewal as I have better access at work on Friday to that.

Looking like a pretty awesome MORG. See you there!

Hey guys, who else is heading down 280 to 101 etc...

Brenton? Chuck? Graeme? Nick? Jason? Who else...??

How about a check point of 0815 at the Park & Ride on Woodside Rd just west of the freeway? I'll be on NCLR-VHF (146.460) as well as the N6NFI repeater (145.230 pl 100)

After the fun on the trail, I'm also interested in taking a ride to check out the Pinnacles National Monument. I have a reservation to camp down there in early June and figured I'd do a little recon before then. According to Google Maps, it's about 45 min further south on 25. Input welcome there too.

Looking forward to seeing some of you in Woodside and the rest of you in Hollister!

Cheers,

Tom

I can take 280 down and meet you in Woodside. I still have Carlos' Yaesu from Shaver and will monitor 146.460. Are you familiar with the FT-60R?

Hey B, You think you could send that radio with Mike, as I will be needing it for the DV Trip. ( after the MORG, of course).
Have fun.

Great B, see you at P&R. I'm not familiar with The 60r but if you can get it to N6NFI your range will drastically increase ;-)

Also, my Baofeng is willing to go to DV if someone needs it. I'll bring to Morg.

Btw, ElSolis, ever tackle the pl259 in the CT?? Haha

I can meet you there - I'll be taking 101 and filling up with gas at the Costco in RWC. Or if you're coming from there I can meet you near the Costco first...

As Chuck mentioned, I'll be coming down with him as a ridealong. My RRC has tranny problems and I'm not physically able to do anything about it just yet, so it's sidelined for the time being. I'll be bringing my laptop with me with the Roverguage diagnostic program installed if anyone wants to hook it up to their 14CUX system ('90-95 RRC, '94-95 DI and '93-95 NAS Defender) for a demonstration. It's also supposed to work for the 14CU system, but unknown if it will interface with the '87-'88 13CU. Mike, maybe we can test it on your '88.

Sure, we can hook it up. Don't have any known problems, but who knows what evils may lurk in the depths. I had a spare computer at one time in the truck. It was from a later truck. We can play with that too if you want as it is just sitting in the back I think.

However, if you flash my system and the truck won't start...
