Enrique volunteered to lead a run as well, and he's taking the morning one at 10am. That will give him the rest of the day for food prep. I'll check the schedule for when the afternoon run is planned. Rupert has offered to be tail gunner as well for at least one of the runs.

Awesome Phil, that sounds like a good plan. Let me know where you guys wind up going, as I'll be a trail leader/gunner next weekend too.

Brenton,

Will area 5 be open Friday AM?? or do we need to go to the Ranger station for a gate code?

Also will we have access across the street?

Cheers!

Nathan

Gate code is the usual. But HH usually doesn't have Area 5 ready until noon (or later sometimes). My goal is to arrive around noon o'clock. I need to do a walk around with the rangers first to be sure everything is in order.

We should have access to Hudner, though I haven't planned anything over there, and they may have different gate codes on the locks. I will ask HH about Hudner access.

Great the Central coast chapter should arrive around noon also.

Yeah! that would be great to have access to Hudner as I may need to leave Gryphon over there ha ha!.

Yup, Hudner is confirmed and will have the same access code as Area 5. I'm waiting to hear how many trucks can be over there at once.

I have a friend that will be joining me on Saturday evening to Sunday morning.

I paid for his food and he will be riding with me. Is there an extra charge since he is staying the night?

What time are you planning to be there Saturday; maybe we can lead an afternoon run together if Enrique has the morning covered.

Do you have a CB or ham radio?

I believe that is part of the National Park system. The group I was to go with is still heading out and taking their chances as to if they will be able to enter.

Does anyone know the status of the raffle items Tyler won at the annual event in October? We still haven't gotten the items from Rovers North and are trying to build up the d2 over Christmas break.....
