It really isn't that hard and much of it isn't totally foreign. Just do the tests a few times and take the test. Rob's wife took the test and passed on her first try and she knew nothing about radios. There was a 12 year old who took the test when I was there and passed. Stop making excuses. Its easy.

That's why you use the app to study when you can...like in the bathroom. Also, no HAM means we can make fun of you on the trail ;)

I finally got around studying for the test. I started studying for it only a few days back and
I took the test this morning and passed it. It wasn't to hard.

I am exited, finally got my license.

I used this site to study for the test.

http://www.eham.net/exams/

I took the practice test several times as the questions change with each new practice exam you take and eventually you go through all the questions listed on the exams. The test only took like 15 minutes.

I missed the exam last week because my son has been very sick and so has Trista. I think I'm just going to buckle down and keep taking practice tests but where can you sign up to just take the test? all I can find is that baers site.

Nevermind I found this link

Hey Antonio, did you check the ARRL site; you can search exam sessions by zip code: http://www.arrl.org/...sessions/search

Good luck and yes, get your license. Cool!

Thanks Ron

I know it's kind of far, but the NPS Amateur Radio Club has free (!) tests that are walk in. That's here in Monterey, but if you are interested I'll get some details for you.
