If you happen to be across the pond, in the UK, on Oct 22, the National Motor Museum has a current exhibition “Feats of Endurance” - a tribute to those whose personal strength and stamina know no bounds, and the evening focus on two of those incredible feats.

Brothers Bob & Joe Ives share their experiences of taking part in the 1989 Camel Trophy in the jungles of Brazil driving a Land Rover 110 Turbo Diesel. Sharing the limelight is Duncan Mortimer who has driven around the world on three occasions in a 1978 Mini 1275GT, raising money for global Cancer research charities.

The evening will begin at 8.00 pm in the Lecture Theatre of the Collections Centre and the National Motor Museum is open from 6.30 pm at no extra charge.

Advance Tickets
Tickets are £10.00 and are available by sending a SAE to Theresa Browning, Friends Secretary, National Motor Museum, Beaulieu, Hampshire, SO42 7ZN.

For more information telephone 01590 614792 or email: friends@beaulieu.co.uk or link: http://www.beaulieu....tober-half-term

Hmmm..... NCLR. What do you think of hosting our own event for both fundraising and PR. We know and have access to Camel Trophy participants e.g. Tom, Bill, Daphne Green; and Camel Trophy vehicles for visuals (Chris, mine,...)

Ok NCLR Officers work on it! Logs display set optional ::blink1::

The logs are required if you ask me! I'd love to see this and the CT museum in Holland.

I'm happy to share my rig for display purposes ONLY! no driving in dirt, mud, rocks, sand, etc. A red carpet laid down in front of my rig so as not to get her dirty or expose the tires to asphalt/dirt/etc. Oh, and only green M&M's in my dressing room.

Oh come on Chris green only? You don't get a rock star reputation unless you ask for only red and blue striped M&M's.

Good point B, fine red & blue striped M&M's, and now I am adding a goat's milk rinse and afterwards a wash down with triple filtered spring water from the Alps by bikini clad ex camel trophy participants (Bill Burke, Lee McGee, Daphne Green, etc).

I did read you would be bringing the CT to the annual, we can park next to each other and make sure nothing touches the wax. Wait....there is no wax on mine, it has a protective layer of dirt!

Hi Colin;

Not sure but now that I read the actual files missing, they do appear to be .gif images of emoticons with names like wink.gif, biggrin.gif, etc.

So probably not important, just something I noticed.

Yeah its a easy fix, vbulletin sometime will auto update certain funcitons (emoticons being one of them)... In return breaking the ones needed for the outdated version the site is running.

I should be working on the site shortly and will add this to the list, pretty easy fix.

Thanks :D
