All,

Might not be in the same league as Mr. Bob Marley's Series, but for Dire Straits fans .... read on ....

Some of you may remember the launch of the 'new' Range Rover back in 2012 .... I certainly do as I got to drive one at Laguna Seca.  Well, remember that "Dire Straits" (well, Mark Knopfler and a band) played?  Here's a memory jogger

http://www.mk-guitar...ge-rover-event/

Well, as some of you may know, Mark has been a Range Rover owner for many years.  Recently, his old Range Rover Classic was restored and there is a great full article in Land Rover Owner International that arrived on my doorstep a few weeks ago.  A very brief taster of that can be found here:

http://www.lro.com/f...er-classic-lse/

or a picture in the contents summary, here:

http://www.lro.com/n...sue-march-2015/

(about half way down the page), or borrow the issue from me if you don't subscribe.

Anyway, guess what?  It is a Range Rover in Mosswood Green with the Brookland's body kit we were talking about a few weeks ago.  Talk about "Setting me up".
So, whatever "Walk of Life" you're from, this is good "News".  I wouldn't mind if that Range Rover would "Follow me home" as it is a superb restoration.

Oh, and a little more up-to-date ....

A man with taste in music and vehicles .... and defintiely not "money for nothing" ...

Regards,

Graeme

"Mark Knopler's Range Rover Classic Restored'

Jared,

Can you add an f in title ... oh, that didn't sound right .... can you please add the letter "f" in Mr K's name?  People will be confusing me with David and his f'in pups.

Graeme

That's a nice lookin' Classic. Good restoration. I had just been listening to Sultans of Swing in the Rover on Sunday, who knew it would be so appropriate?
