Help! How do I remove the end cap from the u-joint?

I got the u-joint slid over as far is it will go, but I can't seem to get the endcap off. Any tricks that I'm missing? The c-clips on the driveshaft are off.

I get below 15 mpg on Fuelly!

Just keep pushing it .... until all the roller bearings fall onto the floor ....
