Land Rover is on a tear with these Heritage programs. Got $170K burning a hole in your pocket?

And they come with the highly coveted 3.5 engine with its overwhelming 135 bhp! That's a steal. I feel like I'd be cheating them out of money.

Heck, if you want a yellow 2-door there's one for sale in OR right now for $5K.  Needs a little work but doesn't look bad at all.  It does have a chevy 350 in it though.  (they could at least have done an LS motor....geez)

Oooh, that's very intriguing. And actually, I'd rather have the 350 for anything I planned on taking out into the wild. Parts are so much more common for it. I've been shocked with the Tahoe at how easy it is to find parts everywhere.

Check the sac text link - it was there.  Decent looking truck but not a good deal for what I need.  And I don't know how you get that through smog here.

Well that is very yellow indeed. Yikes. That interior is also....interesting. I like how the gauges are just sitting in a wooden box.

Oh come on, I think it was an aluminum (that's al-u-miny-um to you sir) box.

Actually I don't think it looked that bad.  Sorta went with the minimalist look.  If I didn't have to deal with the the smog issues it would be interesting just as a 2-door.  But for me I'd have to take everything out and start with just the body shell.  That's a bit too much work for $5000 for me.
