Tonight I finally had time to install the cb and finish up the antenna. The antenna was mounted on the spare tire carrier and the junction box for the Cobra 75WXST was mounted under the driver's seat. There was no need to drill through the firewall because we found a plug to pass wires through for power. In the engine compartment routed the power out the driver's side, along the windshield and down along the fuse box to the battery.

Big thanks to Ron for allowing me to poke around his truck and giving lots of info to get this job finished!!

If Ron is still planning on hitting up the MORG on Saturday, he'll bring his SWR meter with him. He had it with him last weekend at the WFA class, but I didn't get the cb installed by then.
